Huahine
Before we set sail, I took my
final pictures of Mount Rotui
(above) and Mount Mouaroa
(to the left).
If Mount Mouaroa looks
vaguely familiar, it could
be because that peak was
used as the background
for the island Bali Hai in
the movie South Pacific.

The next stop was Huahine, which is about
100 miles northwest of Papeete. Above is
a picture of the full moon setting over
Huahine.
I had a laid back day in Huahine - spent the
morning at the beach and in the afternoon, I
watched a performance of native songs and
dances that was presented on the ship by
some people from Huahine.
