final pictures of Mount Rotui (above) and Mount Mouaroa (to the left). |

If Mount Mouaroa looks
vaguely familiar, it could be because that peak was used as the background for the island Bali Hai in the movie South Pacific. |

The next stop was Huahine, which is about
100 miles northwest of Papeete. Above is a picture of the full moon setting over Huahine. |

I had a laid back day in Huahine - spent the
morning at the beach and in the afternoon, I watched a performance of native songs and dances that was presented on the ship by some people from Huahine. |
