During my visit to Tahiti, I took a ride
around the island. One of the stops was at the Lagoonarium. There, you can see marine life like rays and black-tip sharks in pens in the lagoon. |

Another stop was at Vaimahuta Falls. These falls, which are about 400 feet
tall, were just a few minutes walk from the parking area. |

The next stop on the cruise was Moorea, which is about 10 miles
northwest of Papeete. Above is a view of Moorea at sunset as seen from the harbor in Papeete. |
