The main building of the Angus
Folk Museum, near Glamis, is a
country cottage in a style
typical of the area. There are
1000's of things associated
with everyday life in the early
20th century in the museum.
Glamis Castle was the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth and
her daughter, Princess Margaret, was born here. In addition to its
links with royalty, the castle has the reputation of being the most
haunted castle in Scotland.

The present castle dates from the 17th century with bits of an
older building incorporated. The oldest part is Duncan's Hall,
traditionally the setting for Shakespeare's Macbeth.
