In July 2000, I cruised on Renaissance Cruise Lines' ship
R Five. Among the ports the ship visited were Oslo,
Copenhagen, Helsinki, and Stockholm. |
|
The trip was very enjoyable, but as you'll see in the pictures on
the following pages, it rained most of the time. However, the people were friendly (and almost everyone spoke English), the public transit was good, the sights were interesting, and my ATM card worked in the bankcard machines. |
|
In addition to sightseeing, on this vacation, I had a good time
playing trivia games for wooden nickels with my friends Gail and Bob. |
|
Now, let's go to our first Scandinavian port, Oslo, Norway.
