The Louvre
The Louvre, originally a royal palace, is the world's largest
museum. This is one of I.M. Pei's pyramids, which is used as
the main entrance to the Louvre.
The Louvre is huge. The Grande Galerie, above, is a
quarter-mile long and covered with French and Italian
paintings. To the right is the statue, Venus de Milo, from
the 2nd century B.C.
There are wonderful views around
each corner.
Here I am in one of the sculpture gardens.
