L.J.Bear Goes to Norway

In July 2001, I had the opportunity to sail on the Renaissance 7 from
Copenhagen, Denmark to Edinburgh, Scotland. During the course of
the trip, I would visit a few cities in Norway and cruise the fjords
before heading for Scotland.

Much to my amazement, I found myself
in Copenhagen two summers in a row.
This time I just took it easy and went on
a harbor cruise and walked around the
city a bit.

The pictures above are of the Nyhavn section of Copenhagen. Hans
Christian Andersen lived here and wrote his first stories in this part of the
city.

This is a picture of Amalienborg Palace and Square. The palace is the
residence of the Danish royal family. For more information about
