The friend with whom I visited the Space Center is a first
grade teacher. She wanted to get some ideas for lessons to
teach her class about space. So, before we left, we went to
the educational resource center.
While we were there, we met Cindy, who runs the resource center,
and Herb, a volunteer, who helps fill requests for information.
They were very helpful. My friend was able to obtain study guides
and other materials that gave her some good ideas for teaching
about space and the planets.
Information for students can be found at the Johnson Space
Center site. There are activities
available as well.
