We rented a car and drove
to the "tablelands." We
had to be careful driving
because in Australia they
drive on the left side of the
road, not the right like we
do in the U.S.

The tablelands are an agricultural area
where cattle are raised. There were
many waterfalls in the tablelands. The
forests were not like the rainforests on
the coast. In one of the forests, I saw
and interesting tree, the curtain fig. It
was a strange looking tree with roots
above the ground.
